Coconut and Lime Conditioner

I use this conditioner once a month. It helps to relax my curls and makes my hair really soft near the roots and edges.

WHAT YOU NEED

1 can of coconut milk ( I use Goya)
2 tbsp of lime juice
1 spoonful of grapeseed oil

Open the can of coconut milk put it in the freezer for about 30min-1hr to thicken it up. Then empty into a bowl add lime and grapeseed oil. Mix. Let sit for 30mins in refridgerator or overnight until ready to use.

You can pour over washed hair or put into a spray bottle and spray. With the spray bottle you waste less and cover more hair.

Put on a plastic cap for an hour and rinse.

WARNING: IT’S MESSY

I usually have enough leftover for 1-2 more applications.

It does freeze well. Just take it out of freezer the night before you want to use it and put in the refridgerator. Microwave in 20 sec increments until thawed out.
